Jellybeankidz is an online toy store that sells wooden and other environmentally friendly toys. In 2013 Jellybeankidz decided to use jedcart as their shipping company.

Jellybeankidz requested that we build an online shipping calculator so that customers could calculate the cost of shipping the items in their cart. We built the shipping calculator as a WordPress plugin to integrate with Jigoshop, the E-commerce plugin that Jellybeankidz’ site uses.

The plugin combines all items in the shopping cart and uses an algorithm to approximate the total dimensions of the package. It then communicates with the jedcart server, sending out dimensions and weights and returning the prices for a variety of shipping options.
