WordPress Tutorials

We build the majority of our client websites using a content management system called WordPress. WordPress allows our clients to add and manage website content without needing to know how to write code. To get our clients up to speed on using WordPress we’ve written a set of tutorials. These tutorials cover the most common tasks you will need to perform while managing your WordPress website. The tutorials are not exhaustive so if there is a concept or detail not covered here try searching the WordPress Documentation or contacting us.

Most of our WordPress installs include the JetPack and WordPress SEO plugins. The tutorials account for these plugins presence. In most cases we will install additional plugins or create custom coded features to meet your website’s needs. These will add more items to your navigation menu and admin toolbar and more WordPress admin screens. These extras will be covered in your individual documentation.

Email Tutorials

If you host your website on Phoenix Web Development hosting you will be able to create email addresses which use your domain name. For example if your URL is example.com.au you can create email addresses like yourname@example.com.au. This gives your business a more professional look and separates your business emails from your personal email. We’ve provided some tutorials to help you setup email for your business.
